Inaugural Historical Warroad Walk

  • Warroad Public Library 202 Main Avenue Northeast Warroad, MN, 56763 United States (map)

Did you know that Warroad was incorporated in 1901 and it once was one of the largest Ojibwe villages on Lake of the Woods?

Join us for the kick off of our new Warroad Walk Series! These walks will be guided tours bringing our shared history to life around some of Warroad's oldest buildings, streets, and geography.

Who better to guide this inaugural walk then Warroad's legendary 6th grade Minnesota history teacher, Mr. Ron Tveit! This tour is open to all ages. Wear comfortable shoes.

Tour Guide: Mr. Tveit

Cost: Tickets for the tour are free, with a suggested $5 donation.

Special Note: To ensure a successful event, we require a minimum of five (5) attendees for this event. If less than five (5) people sign up, the event will be canceled. Attendees will be notified within 24 hours of the class and receive a full refund. So please encourage friends and family to join you!
